Cynthia Smoot is an Emmy award winning veteran broadcast journalist with more than 40 years of experience in TV news and radio including more than two decades as a primetime anchor, reporter and producer at the top-rated TV station in Tampa, Florida. Cynthia is committed to turning her experience on and behind the camera as an anchor, reporter, producer and news director into knowledge her clients can use to shine as public speakers.
Cynthia loves helping clients transform their missions and passions into compelling and well crafted messages that inspire action. She has reported on a myriad of issues including those effecting women, the environment and animal welfare. She's a longtime wild horse advocate who serves on the board of The Cloud Foundation, a wild horse advocacy organization based in Colorado Springs. She has adopted her own wild horse, Mustang Dream a national reserve champion in Western Dressage.
Cynthia has a long history of support for The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, serving as an emcee of the annual "Tuxes and Tails" fundraiser since its inception, and is a new member of the Advisory Board. She is also a "Cheetah Ambassador" for the Namibia-based Cheetah Conservation Fund. She has visited and reported on CCF in Namibia, and hosted numerous events, in person and virtually.
